The Dodgers’ offensive burden was shared among many — Freeman, Mookie Betts and Teoscar Hernández each drove in two runs, Kiké Hernández and Tommy Edman each scored two — but Treinen’s work out of the bullpen was a singular effort.

Going into Game 3, the biggest question was Shohei Ohtani, specifically his left shoulder. He partially dislocated it on a slide in Game 2 and favored it throughout Game 3 — Ohtani held his jersey while running the bases as a makeshift sling — but did play, and drew a four-pitch walk to lead off the game. There’s no reason to think the presumptive NL MVP will miss Game 4 on Tuesday.
So when his father picked him up and — surprise! — showed him tickets in the right-field pavilion and headed directly for Chavez Ravine, Zachary was beyond thrilled. They met his mom in Echo Park for pregame tacos at Guisados and soon were in their seats.
